Position Overview
We are looking for a caring, dependable Dental Assistant who thrives in a close-knit practice setting. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and enjoys creating a warm, comfortable experience for every patient.
Responsibilities
• Assisting the dentist chairside during procedures
• Preparing and organizing treatment rooms and instruments
• Taking digital X-rays; ensuring proper sterilization protocols
• Managing patient flow and supporting smooth daily operations
• Updating and maintaining accurate patient records (Open Dental Practice software experience preferred)
• Providing patient education and post-care instructions
Qualifications
• Oregon Dental Assistant certification preferred
• X-ray certification required
• Excellent communication and patient-care skills
• Reliable, organized, and able to multitask
• Positive attitude and strong teamwork mindset
• Experience in a private dental practice is a plus
