Full Time Dental Assistant

Cotton Dentistry is a modern, patient-centered dental practice committed to delivering exceptional care using advanced technology. We are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our growing team and support our mission of providing the highest standard of dentistry.

Responsibilities

Assist the dentist during general, cosmetic, and restorative procedures

Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials following OSHA and infection control standards

Take digital X-rays and intraoral scans as needed

Provide excellent chairside support and ensure patient comfort

Educate patients on post-operative and oral hygiene instructions

Sterilize and organize instruments and maintain operatory cleanliness

Update and maintain accurate patient records in the dental software

Support front office or clinical workflow when needed

Contribute to a positive, professional, and team-oriented environment

Qualifications

Dental Assistant certification (RDA preferred; Texas requirements apply)

Current CPR certification

Experience with digital X-rays and modern dental technology preferred

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Excellent organization and attention to detail

Ability to multitask in a fast-paced clinical environment
