Looking for an Energetic, Part-Time Dental Hygienist!
LOCATION
Elmhurst, ILWe are seeking a compassionate, detail-oriented dental hygienist to join us part-time in a well-established private practice serving patients of all ages. Our practice is led by two experienced general dentists who are deeply committed to the well-being of both patients and staff. We provide comprehensive care in a warm, welcoming setting and take pride in maintaining a positive workplace culture. Many members of our team have been with us for years, reflecting the stability, respect, and collaboration that define our office. This position is available because our previous hygienist retired, creating a rare opening for the right candidate to join a trusted team.
The ideal candidate will be comfortable providing high-quality preventive and periodontal care, including taking x-rays, using a Piezo, perio charting, and documenting clinical notes accurately. You should enjoy working with one patient at a time and appreciate the time needed to deliver thorough, personalized care. We schedule 1 hour for prophy appointments and 1.5 hours for SRP appointments, allowing you to focus on quality rather than rushing through treatments. A one-hour lunch break is provided.
This role is best suited for a hygienist who is confident, organized, and eager to contribute to a team-oriented environment. We serve general, PPO, and private patients, so strong communication skills and a professional, friendly manner are essential. The office is designed to make each day comfortable and efficient, and we value team members who bring positivity and reliability to their work.
Compensation begins at $45 per hour, with increases based on experience. We also offer a competitive benefits package that includes medical insurance, dental benefits, 401(k), paid vacation, and paid holidays.
