Expanded Duty Dental Assistant (EDDA)

Lone Tree Modern Dental is a highly-rated family dental practice in the South Denver area near Park Meadows. We are seeking an Expanded Duty Dental Assistant (EDDA) to join our team full-time. We work with a great team in a beautiful office and are open Monday-Friday. Our ideal EDDA will have have 3+ years of experience as a dental assistant in general dentistry with at least 1 year of experience as an EDDA. Office Hours:
Monday-Friday (availability between 7am-4:30pm)

Rate: $24-$29/hr, plus daily bonus opportunities

Responsibilities:
*Provide chairside assistance to the dentist during dental procedures
*Take and develop dental x-rays
*Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment
*Assist with dental procedures such as fillings, extractions, and root canals
*Perform dental charting and record patient information
*Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care
*Maintain infection control protocols and ensure aseptic technique is followed
*Manage dental supplies inventory and order as needed

Requirements
*3+ years of experience in general dentistry
*1+ year(s) EDDA experience
*Expanded Duty Dental Assistant certification preferred
*Active CPR Certification
*Valid Xray Certification
*Proficiency in taking dental X-rays and operating CAD systems
*Knowledge of dental assisting techniques and procedures
*Familiarity with medical coding and billing processes
*Strong understanding of infection control protocols and aseptic technique
*Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
*Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
*Knowledge of medical imaging techniques and interpretation of results is a plus
*Familiarity with taking vital signs and recording patient information accurately
