Job Summary
We are a privately owned practice looking for a hygienist who can work Monday through Thursday full-time, or any combination of those days part-time. We currently have two hygienists, one of whom has worked with us for over ten years, and the other over 40 years. They are both interested in cutting back their hours, hence why we are looking to add someone new! Our hours are M-W: 8-5 with a 1 hour lunch break at 1PM, and Th: 7:30-3 with no lunch break.
Our dentists:
Dr. Ainsworth has practiced dentistry in Mustang for 42 years. He started his first office just 1/2 mile away from our current location, then relocated to our current office in 2000.
Dr. Crossley graduated and began working at the practice in 2019. His mother is currently one of our hygienists, where she has worked with Dr. Ainsworth for 41 years
More Details:
-Our hygiene schedule consists of 8 patients per day - this allows one hour per patient on M-W, and then on Thursdays we assign some of our easier patients to two 45 minute blocks in the morning, then the standard 1 hour block for every patient after. The only exception to this is with very young patients who aren't likely to require scaling.
-While we don't have a dedicated hygiene assistant, we do employ 4 full-time assistants, and they can always assist hygiene when help is needed. This includes catching up on sterilizing instruments or seating patients and taking their radiographs, coronal polishing, or assisting in recording probing depths.
We have chosen to list the pay as "per day", because if we fail to fill your full schedule, that will not result in you being sent home early and losing pay. If you occasionally do request to leave early or work a shorter day by your own accord, then we could apply hourly rates.
