We’re a privately owned oral surgery practice looking for a warm, personable, organized, and motivated team member to join us as our Dental Front Office / Treatment Coordinator & Marketing Coordinator.
This is a unique role for someone who loves working with people and wants to be part of more than just a front desk. You’ll have the opportunity to build meaningful relationships with our patients, work closely with our surgical team, connect with referring dental offices, and help our practice continue to grow.
We’re looking for someone who can make patients feel comfortable and cared for, communicate confidently with dental professionals, and bring a positive, professional presence to everything they do.

Position Breakdown

What You’ll Do
Treatment Coordination & Patient Care — 60%
You’ll play an important role in helping patients understand their recommended treatment and feel comfortable taking the next step in their care.
Your responsibilities will include:
-Meeting with patients to review and coordinate treatment recommended by the oral surgeon.
-Explaining treatment plans, procedures, timelines, and next steps in a clear, friendly, and compassionate way.
-Reviewing treatment fees, insurance information, financing options, and estimated patient responsibilities.
-Helping patients understand their options and feel confident moving forward with recommended care.
-Scheduling consultations, procedures, follow-up appointments, and other necessary visits.
-Following up with patients who have not yet scheduled recommended treatment.
-Maintaining accurate treatment plans, notes, financial information, and patient communications.
-Helping patients navigate insurance questions and communicating with insurance personnel when appropriate.
-Identifying administrative barriers that may be preventing patients from scheduling treatment and working with the team to find appropriate solutions.
-Creating a positive, supportive patient experience from the first consultation through treatment and follow-up.
Marketing & Referral Development — 35%
Building relationships is an important part of this position. You’ll help us strengthen our relationships with the dental professionals who trust us with their patients while also helping introduce our practice to new referral partners and our local community.
You’ll have opportunities to:
-Build and maintain strong, professional relationships with referring dentists, orthodontists, periodontists, pediatric dentists, and their teams.
-Visit referring dental offices on a regular basis.
-Coordinate lunches, office visits, appreciation events, educational events, and other referral activities.
-Deliver referral materials and practice updates to dental offices.
-Follow up with referring offices and prospective referral partners.
-Keep referral-source information accurate and up to date.
-Identify opportunities to develop new referral relationships.
-Assist with social media, email marketing, website updates, and other digital marketing activities.
-Coordinate patient and practice photography, videos, educational materials, and promotional projects.
-Participate in community outreach and local networking opportunities.
-Monitor online reviews and help maintain a positive, professional online presence.
-Track basic marketing and referral metrics and share results with practice leadership.
-Represent our practice professionally at dental and community events as needed.
Surgical/Clinical Assisting — 5%, As Needed
From time to time, you’ll also have the opportunity to support our clinical team during busy periods.
Depending on your training and applicable scope of practice, responsibilities may include:
-Assisting the surgical team during procedures.
-Preparing and breaking down treatment rooms.
-Supporting sterilization and instrument processing as appropriate.
-Preparing supplies and instruments.
-Assisting with patient room turnover.
-Providing additional support to the clinical team when needed.
-Following all practice infection-control and safety protocols.
-Clinical assisting is an occasional support responsibility and is not the primary focus of this position.

Experience
-Must have - Dental front-office experience
-Must have - Treatment and financial coordination
-Must have - Current Texas RDA certificate
-Nice to have - Dental marketing or referral development
-Nice to have - Working with digital marketing (Facebook, Instagram, Reviews)

Schedule
Full-time, Monday–Friday
