Schedule: Monday–Friday | Every Other Weekend
Compensation: $16–$20/hour (based on experience)

Role Description
The Dental Front Office Coordinator is the first point of contact and the operational anchor of the practice. This role requires strong OpenDental proficiency, excellent insurance knowledge, and the ability to manage scheduling, financials, and patient communication with confidence and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities
Utilize OpenDental daily for scheduling, insurance, billing, treatment plans, and patient records
Verify insurance benefits, submit and follow up on claims
Enter treatment plans, estimates, and financial arrangements
Post patient and insurance payments accurately
Maintain organized, compliant patient records
Schedule efficiently to support provider productivity
Greet patients and deliver a polished, concierge-level experience
Clearly explain treatment plans, insurance coverage, and financial expectations
Collect copays and balances at time of service
Coordinate closely with the clinical team to ensure smooth daily flow
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent
1–2+ years of dental front office experience
Strong OpenDental experience required
Solid understanding of dental insurance and PPO workflows
Excellent communication, organization, and multitasking skills
Professional demeanor with a patient-first mindset
