Experienced Endodontic Team Member for Established Patient-Focused Practice

We are seeking a dependable, professional team member for a full-time role in a single-doctor, private fee-for-service endodontic practice. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys a patient-focused environment and values teamwork, consistency, and excellent service. Our office has a strong team atmosphere with long-term employees who are committed to creating positive patient experiences. Sedation options are offered. Dr. Sheaffer has been in practice since 2002.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of endodontic experience, though we will consider applicants with several years of dental assisting experience and less endodontic exposure. Strong skills in surgical and non-surgical endodontic treatment, patient charting, radiography, CBCT acquisition, nitrous oxide and oral sedation monitoring, and working with IV sedated patients alongside an anesthesiologist are important. Excellent communication skills are essential. Additional experience with appointment scheduling, chair side assistance, four-handed dentistry, infection control, root canals, suture removal, vital signs monitoring, front office support, and ordering supplies is valued. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply. Familiarity with Microsoft Office, Carestream, intraoral cameras, NOMAD Pro, and digital X-rays is a plus.

This role is cross-trained, and team members help at the front office as needed. No scheduled lunch is provided since patients are scheduled in 1.5-hour blocks, though breaks are taken when not with patients. Benefits include health insurance after 90 days, 2 weeks PTO, and a 401(k) plan after 1 year. Pay is $26/hr. Parking is available in the upper level lot at Meredith Woods Professional building.
