Dental Hygienist – Full-Time

Locations: Winter Garden & Kissimmee, FL

We are seeking a friendly, motivated, and patient-focused Dental Hygienist to join our growing dental team. This is a full-time position with the opportunity to work at our Winter Garden location, Kissimmee location, or a combination of both.

Bilingual English/Spanish is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

As a Dental Hygienist, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive preventive and periodontal care while helping our patients understand the importance of maintaining excellent oral health.

Responsibilities include:

Perform adult and pediatric prophylaxis
Perform periodontal charting and comprehensive hygiene assessments
Perform scaling and root planing (SRP) as diagnosed by the dentist
Take digital radiographs, including bitewings, periapicals, and full-mouth series as needed
Review patients' medical and dental histories
Identify and communicate areas of concern to the treating dentist
Provide oral hygiene instruction and patient education
Educate patients regarding periodontal disease, prevention, and recommended treatment
Apply fluoride and other preventive treatments as indicated
Maintain accurate and thorough clinical documentation
Follow proper infection-control and sterilization protocols
Maintain a clean, organized, and properly stocked treatment room
Work closely with doctors, dental assistants, front-office staff, and other team members to provide an excellent patient experience
Help patients feel comfortable and informed throughout their appointments
Maintain appropriate recall and periodontal maintenance protocols
Qualifications

Current Florida Dental Hygienist license in good standing
Current CPR/BLS certification
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Professional, dependable, and punctual
Strong attention to detail
Ability to work effectively as part of a team
Commitment to providing compassionate, high-quality patient care
Bilingual in English and Spanish highly preferred
Previous dental hygiene experience preferred; however, qualified candidates are encouraged to apply
