Dental Hygiene Assistant

Lone Tree Modern Dental is a highly-rated and established family dental practice in the South Denver area near Park Meadows. We are growing and seeking to add a hygiene assistant with a can-do attitude who will thrive in a fast-paced environment to our team. Our ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of experience as a dental assistant, be reliable, punctual, and have a desire to learn.

Schedule: Monday 7:15am-4pm, Tuesday 6:45am-4pm, Wednesday 7:45am-5pm, Thursday 7:15am-4pm, Friday 7am-1pm.

Responsibilities Include:
*Assist Hygienists and Doctors with procedures and charting as necessary
*Capture diagnostic Radiographs
*Take patient's blood pressure
*Review the Hygienist's schedule and help maintain patient flow throughout the day
*Review the patient chart before the Hygienist’s arrival and anticipate the hygienist’s needs for each patient
*Set up and prepare dental equipment and instrumentation following established regulations and guidelines
*Monitor hygiene schedules and help to fill cancellations internally
*Take down and clean patient room after treatment
*Ensure treatment areas are fully stocked

Requirements
*1+ years of experience as a Dental Assistant
*Graduation from an accredited Dental Assisting school
*Radiology/Xray Certification
*CPR Certification
*Experience with dental charting and treatment planning
*Experience applying fluoride
*Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods
*Understanding of health & safety regulations
*Strong computer skills - Denticon experience is a plus!
*Excellent communication skills
*Attention to detail
*Well-organized and reliable
