Lead Dental Assistant
LOCATION
Cypress, TXSmile Avenue Family Dentistry in Cypress is hiring a full-time Lead Dental Assistant at $22 to $28 an hour, based on experience. We're a multi-doctor general and family practice at 9212 Fry Rd, Suite 120, in the Miramesa plaza.
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, with lunch from 12:00 to 1:00 PM. Weekends off.
What you'll do: assist the doctors chairside across general dentistry procedures, lead, train and coach our dental assistants, build the daily assistant schedule and cover gaps, keep rooms set up and stocked on time, take X-rays and intraoral scans, enforce infection control and sterilization standards, prepare patients and explain post-op instructions, and order clinical supplies with the Office Manager.
Our office: digital X-rays, a CBCT, an intraoral scanner, and a Cavitron in every operatory. We place implants in-house, so you'll assist on them.
What we're looking for:
- Texas RDA registration (pending is OK)
- BLS certification, which can be completed before your start date
- At least 1 year of chairside dental assisting experience
- Ready to take on lead duties: training assistants, running the daily assistant schedule and keeping rooms stocked
