We are looking for a friendly, organized, and dependable Front Office Coordinator to be the face of our surgical dental practice. This role is essential in creating a welcoming environment for patients and supporting the smooth operation of our front desk. The ideal candidate will be professional, detail-oriented, and able to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced clinical setting.

Responsibilities:

Greet patients warmly and ensure a positive check-in/check-out experience

Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and manage the surgical calendar

Verify insurance benefits and obtain pre-authorizations as needed

Collect co-pays, balances, and assist with financial arrangements

Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records

Coordinate referrals and communicate effectively with other medical/dental offices

Ensure the reception area is clean, stocked, and organized

Handle incoming and outgoing correspondence, including emails, mail, and faxes

Provide administrative support to the surgical and clinical team as needed

Qualifications:

Previous front office experience in a dental or medical setting required

Knowledge of dental terminology and insurance procedures preferred

Proficiency with dental software (e.g., Dentrix,)
Data entry
First face people see in office.

Excellent communication and customer service skills

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure

High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications a plus

We have a multifaceted practice. As a periodontist the office is concerned with the whole person health. Many times we find that as people age and obtain certain maladies the mouth is neglected. Frequently this neglect accentuates the systemic problem. We feel that a healthy mouth helps the individual all around.

The practice sees predominantly adults and we provide every service a general practice would. However, we do also have other services available in the ream=lm of periodontal surgery and implant surgery and conscious IV sedation that sets us apart.
