About the Role
We are seeking a friendly, organized, and dependable Dental Front Office Coordinator to
join our surgical dental practice. As the first point of contact for patients, this role is vital in
creating a welcoming, professional environment and ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations
of the front desk.

Key Responsibilities
● Greet patients warmly and ensure a positive check-in/check-out experience
● Answer phone calls, manage correspondence, and schedule appointments
● Coordinate and maintain the surgical calendar
● Verify insurance benefits and obtain pre-authorizations when necessary
● Collect co-pays, balances, and assist patients with financial arrangements
● Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
● Coordinate referrals and communicate with other medical/dental offices
● Keep the reception area clean, stocked, and organized
● Provide administrative support to the surgical and clinical team as needed

Qualifications
● Previous front office experience in a dental or medical setting required
● Knowledge of dental terminology and insurance procedures preferred
● Proficiency with dental software (e.g., Dentrix) and strong data entry skills
● Excellent communication and customer service abilities
● Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
● Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure
● High school diploma or equivalent (additional certifications a plus)

The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, professional, and able to multitask effectively in a
fast-paced clinical setting while delivering an excellent patient experience.

We have a multifaceted practice. As a periodontist the office is concerned with the whole person health. Many times we find that as people age and obtain certain maladies the mouth is neglected. Frequently this neglect accentuates the systemic problem. We feel that a healthy mouth helps the individual all around.

The practice sees predominantly adults and we provide every service a general practice would. However, we do also have other services available in the ream=lm of periodontal surgery and implant surgery and conscious IV sedation that sets us apart.
