Key Responsibilities
● Greet patients warmly and ensure a positive check-in/check-out experience
● Answer phone calls, manage correspondence, and schedule appointments
● Coordinate and maintain the surgical calendar
● Verify insurance benefits and obtain pre-authorizations when necessary
● Collect co-pays, balances, and assist patients with financial arrangements
● Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
● Coordinate referrals and communicate with other medical/dental offices
● Keep the reception area clean, stocked, and organized
● Provide administrative support to the surgical and clinical team as needed
Qualifications
● CPR, OSHA, and HIPAA certifications required
● Previous front office experience in a dental setting required
● Knowledge of dental terminology and insurance procedures preferred
● Proficiency with dental software (e.g., Dentrix) and strong data entry skills
● Excellent communication and customer service abilities
● Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
● Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure
● High school diploma or equivalent (additional certifications a plus)
Schedule
● Monday: 8:00am to 5:00pm
● Tuesday: 9:00am to 3:00pm
● Wednesday: 7:30am to 5:00pm
● Thursday: 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM
● Friday: 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM
