We are seeking an experienced dental hygienist to join our growing general dental practice. This full-time role is an excellent opportunity for a motivated professional who enjoys delivering high-quality preventive care, educating patients, and contributing to a collaborative clinical team. The ideal candidate will bring strong clinical skills, a patient-centered approach, and the ability to support efficient, comfortable visits in a modern dental office.
In this role, you will provide comprehensive dental hygiene services, including prophylaxis, scaling and root planing, and individualized oral health education. You will also perform radiographic procedures and help interpret X-ray results to support diagnosis and treatment planning. Accuracy, attention to detail, and a commitment to patient safety are essential. Experience using Eaglesoft is strongly preferred, as this position relies on efficient patient record management, scheduling, and communication through the software.
A key part of the job is building strong rapport with patients of all ages and backgrounds. The ability to explain treatment recommendations clearly and encourage regular preventive care will help create a positive dental experience and strengthen long-term patient relationships. You will also be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sterilization standards in accordance with OSHA and CDC regulations, ensuring a safe and professional environment for both patients and staff.
Qualifications for this position include a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a dental hygienist role, a valid dental hygiene license, and certifications for X-ray and CPR. Candidates should demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills, along with the ability to educate patients effectively about oral health. Proficiency with Eaglesoft and a solid understanding of dental hygiene principles are required.
This full-time position offers a competitive hourly rate of $50-$58, along with benefits that include vacation time, PTO, 401K, and dental care. Additional workplace features include on-site free parking, a 30-minute to 1-hour lunch break, and access to personal protective equipment such as disposable gowns, goggles, latex gloves, N95 masks, nitrile gloves, regular masks, and respirator masks.
