We are a growing private dental practice in East Plano, currently transitioning to new ownership and building our team. We are looking for an experienced Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) who is dependable, adaptable, and enjoys working as part of a team.

This position will begin at 2–3 days per week, with the opportunity to transition to full-time hours as the practice grows.

We are looking for someone with at least 2 years of dental assisting experience who is comfortable working alongside the dentist and assisting with a variety of procedures, including restorative, endodontic, and implant dentistry.

Responsibilities

Provide efficient chairside assistance using four-handed dentistry
Assist with restorative, endodontic, surgical, and implant procedures
Assist with root canal and implant procedures
Take dental X-rays and intraoral images
Use an iTero digital scanner for intraoral scanning
Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials
Maintain proper sterilization and infection-control procedures
Assist with temporary restorations, impressions, and other clinical procedures
Maintain accurate clinical records and charting
Provide patients with post-operative and treatment instructions
Keep operatories clean, organized, and properly stocked
Work closely with the dentist and team to maintain an efficient patient flow
Help create a comfortable, professional, and positive patient experience
Qualifications

2+ years of dental assisting experience required
Current Texas RDA certification required
Current X-ray certification required
Experience with iTero digital scanning
Experience assisting with dental implant and root canal procedures
Strong understanding of dental instruments, materials, and clinical procedures
Excellent communication and patient-care skills
Reliable, organized, and detail-oriented
Team-oriented and willing to help wherever needed
Flexible and adaptable to changing workflows
Comfortable learning new systems and technology
Professional, positive, and dependable attitude
