Experienced Prosthodontic Dental Assistant

Innate Dental Solutions is seeking an experienced Prosthodontic Dental Assistant to join our specialty team.

This is not an entry-level dental assisting position. We are looking for a highly skilled clinical assistant with experience in prosthodontics, implant dentistry, or advanced restorative care who understands the precision, organization, and attention to detail required for complex cases.

Our ideal candidate is confident chairside, technologically capable, exceptionally organized, and able to anticipate the needs of the doctor and patient throughout treatment.

Clinical Responsibilities

- Assist with complex prosthodontic, restorative, and implant procedures
- Assist with full-mouth rehabilitation and full-arch implant cases
- Support fixed and removable prosthodontic procedures, including crowns, bridges, implant restorations, dentures, and provisional restorations
- Assist with All-on-X and other complex implant-supported prosthetic workflows
- Perform accurate intraoral scanning and digital impressions
- Assist with digital records, photography, and treatment documentation
- Support digital dentistry workflows from records through final prosthesis delivery
- Fabricate, adjust, polish, and maintain provisional restorations as appropriate
- Manage prosthodontic materials, components, instruments, and case-specific setups
- Coordinate laboratory cases and maintain organized communication regarding case requirements and timelines
- Maintain exceptional standards for sterilization, infection control, and operatory preparation
- Provide attentive, professional patient care throughout complex and often multi-visit treatment

You should be able to think several steps ahead, anticipate what the doctor will need, recognize when something is missing or incorrect, and maintain composure during technically demanding procedures.

Qualifications

- Significant dental assisting experience required
- Prosthodontic, implant, or advanced restorative experience strongly preferred
- Experience assisting with complex implant and full-arch cases is highly preferred
- Strong understanding of restorative materials, dental terminology, instruments, and implant components
- Experience with intraoral scanners and digital workflows preferred
- Experience with dental photography and laboratory communication is a plus
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Strong understanding of sterilization and infection-control protocols
