Position Overview
We are seeking a licensed Dental Hygienist to join our collaborative team. This position emphasizes comprehensive preventive care, patient education, and periodontal health in a low-stress, well-supported environment.
Responsibilities
Perform adult and pediatric prophylaxis, periodontal maintenance, and SRP as indicated
Complete periodontal charting and comprehensive oral health assessments
Take and interpret digital radiographs in accordance with state guidelines
Educate patients on oral hygiene, disease prevention, and long-term oral health
Collaborate closely with the doctor and clinical team on patient care
Maintain accurate, thorough clinical documentation
Follow OSHA, infection control, and sterilization protocols
Schedule & Appointment Times
New patients: 90 minutes
Recall patients: 60 minutes
Children under 12: 30 minutes
We do not double book hygiene.
Qualifications
Active Kentucky Dental Hygienist license
Current CPR/BLS certification
Strong clinical and communication skills
Professional, dependable, and team-oriented
Comfortable providing patient education and preventive care
