Responsibilities:
As a dental hygienist in our practice, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality oral healthcare. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Performing thorough cleanings and preventive care for patients, including scaling and root planing, fluoride treatments, and sealant application.
- Conducting comprehensive assessments and screenings, including periodontal evaluations and oral cancer screenings.
- Educating patients on proper oral hygiene techniques, periodontal care, and the importance of preventive dentistry.
- Documenting treatment plans, patient history, and progress notes accurately and promptly.
- Collaborating with the dentist and dental team to provide outstanding patient care and address any concerns regarding treatment and oral health.
- Ensuring that the treatment area is clean and compliant with infection control protocols.

Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you should possess:
- A valid dental hygiene license in the state (or equivalent).
- Completion of an accredited dental hygiene program.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with a commitment to patient care.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
