Hygienist

At our practice, we take pride in delivering a high level of care in a welcoming, patient-focused environment, and we’re excited to add a skilled dental hygienist to our team. In this role, you’ll perform routine cleanings as well as periodontal care, while ensuring each patient feels comfortable and truly valued throughout their visit. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, personable, and passionate about patient care and education. Responsibilities:
-Perform comprehensive periodontal cleanings, including scaling and root planing, to support optimal gum health
-Ensure patients feel comfortable, informed, and at ease before, during, and after treatment
-Take and review dental radiographs to assist in evaluating bone levels and periodontal conditions
-Maintain accurate and detailed clinical records, including periodontal charting and updated health histories
-Educate patients on periodontal disease, home care techniques, and the importance of ongoing maintenance
-Monitor and document changes in periodontal health, reporting findings to the doctor as needed
-Apply preventive treatments as appropriate to support long-term oral health
-Follow all infection control and sterilization protocols to maintain a safe clinical environment

Qualifications:
-Possesses a state license to practice dental hygiene
-Excellent communication and customer service skills
-In-depth knowledge of dental safety regulations and HIPAA regulations
-CPR Certified
-Laser Certified

Office Hours:
Monday - Thursday 8am - 5pm
and then every other week
Monday - Thursday 8am - 3pm

Compensation:
$60 - $70 hourly
