Part-Time Dental Hygienist

Periodontal office looking to hire a part-time enthusiastic hygienist to our team! We are seeking a dependable team player that will play a crucial role in providing high-quality periodontal care, ensuring patient comfort, and promoting oral health education.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
-Perform periodontal maintenance, dental prophylaxis, periodontal scaling, root planning, and debridement.
-Evaluate overall health and educate patients on preventative care, outcomes, and oral hygiene.
-Maintain patient electronic dental records (Open Dental and Dexis)
-Send letters to referring offices (template provided).
-Take radiographs as needed.
-Follow practice protocols for quality assurance, biohazards, infection control, sterilization, charting, referral maintenance, implants, periodontal program.
-Stock required supplies and maintain hygiene instruments.
-Assist with sterilization.

Qualifications:
Degree in Dental Hygiene
Current NM Dental Hygiene license
Current CPR certification
Local Anesthesia Certification

Part-time position 1-2 days per week, flexible
