Dental Assistant - No Experience Needed, Base pay plus Bonus

Job Overview

Manhattan Beach Dental Solutions, the office of Dr. Don Mungcal, is hiring a Dental Assistant right away. You must already hold your dental assisting certifications, but you do not need work experience, and new graduates are welcome. We hire for attitude: if you are friendly, upbeat, and reliable, and you enjoy making people feel comfortable, we will train you chairside from day one and help you build a real career in dentistry. You will join a close, supportive team in a private practice blocks from the beach. Experienced DAs and RDAs are also welcome to apply, and your hourly rate will reflect your experience.

Responsibilities

Assist the dentist chairside during procedures, including instrument handling
Set up and clean treatment rooms and sterilize instruments following infection control protocols
Take dental X-rays
Greet patients, explain procedures, and answer questions with professionalism and empathy
Update patient records in the practice’s software, keeping them accurate and confidential under HIPAA
Set up dental equipment, including digital imaging and scanning devices
Keep the clinical area clean, stocked, and organized
Help with scheduling and patient flow when needed
Support the team across general and cosmetic dentistry, implants, root canal therapy, and Invisalign
Experience
No prior work experience in a dental office is required. Candidates must already have:

California X-ray (radiation safety) certificate
Infection control certificate
California Dental Practice Act certificate
Current CPR/BLS certification
Beyond that, bring a strong work ethic, a willingness to learn, and a real interest in patient care. We will train you on our systems, our procedures, and how our team works chairside.
