PT Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) – Fee-for-Service Private Practice

We are a relationship-based, fee-for-service private practice in Sandy Springs focused on comprehensive restorative, cosmetic, and periodontal care. Our office is intentionally small and collaborative, with one doctor, one hygienist, one assistant, and one front desk coordinator.
We are seeking an experienced Registered Dental Hygienist who values periodontal diagnosis, patient education, meticulous clinical care, and building long-term relationships with patients.
This position is ideal for a clinician who enjoys practicing comprehensive, patient-centered dentistry rather than high-volume hygiene.
Appointment times include:
* 60 minutes for routine recare
* 90 minutes to 2 hours for new patient comprehensive exams
* 90 minutes for SRP appointments
Responsibilities
* Comprehensive periodontal assessment and diagnosis
* Hand instrumentation and ultrasonic (Cavitron) scaling
* Non-surgical periodontal therapy and periodontal maintenance
* Oral hygiene instruction and patient education
* Digital radiographs and intraoral scanning (iTero)
* Local anesthesia and nitrous oxide administration
* Impressions, whitening tray fabrication, fluoride treatment
* Accurate clinical documentation and collaboration with the doctor on comprehensive treatment planning
Qualifications
* Current Georgia RDH license
* CPR certification
* 3+ years of clinical hygiene experience (5+ years preferred)
* Strong periodontal knowledge and instrumentation skills
* Excellent communication and patient education abilities
* Experience in a fee-for-service private practice is preferred
