Dental Assistant
LOCATION
South Pittsburg, TNWe are seeking a full-time dental assistant to join a general dental practice serving adults in a rural community. Our clinic is a charitable dental office dedicated to helping low-income, uninsured, and underinsured patients receive quality care. This is a meaningful opportunity to support a team that values compassion, teamwork, and service while making a real difference in people’s lives.
The ideal candidate will have a high school education and strong interpersonal skills. We are looking for someone who is dependable, organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced clinical setting. Experience with customer service is important, along with the ability to communicate respectfully and professionally with patients and team members.
Responsibilities include assisting with chairside procedures, preparing treatment rooms, taking and processing digital X-rays, using an intraoral camera, and operating NOMAD Pro equipment as needed. Additional duties include dental charting, data entry, and maintaining accurate patient records using Eaglesoft. The right candidate will also help with sterilization, infection control, and general office support to keep daily operations running smoothly.
