Exciting opportunity for Excellent Hygienist

We are seeking a skilled dental hygienist to join our general practice in a part-time role with the opportunity to transition to full-time after the first of the year. Ideally, the schedule will include Tuesday from 7:45 am to 5:15 pm and Thursday from 6:45 am to 2:15 pm, with some flexibility available. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional who values continuity of care, strong patient relationships, and a team-oriented environment.

Our practice is fee-for-service and relationship-oriented, operating independently of insurance plans. Dr. Kibler has been in practice for 38 years and is supported by a mature, experienced team that includes 2 front office employees, 1 chairside assistant, and 2 part-time hygienists, with a need for a third team member. Hygiene appointments are scheduled for 1 hour, allowing time to provide quality care and meaningful patient education.

The ideal candidate will bring at least 1–2 years of experience and strong communication skills, along with confidence in delivering comprehensive hygiene care. Responsibilities will include prophylaxis, scaling and root planing, calculus removal, ultrasonic scaling, Cavitron use, air polishing, fluoride treatment, periodontal screening, periodontal treatment, oral hygiene instruction, patient education, oral pathology screening, pediatric hygiene, scheduling, and assisting with digital x-rays. Experience with DEXIS, and intraoral camera systems is preferred. A detail-oriented approach and comfort working with patients of all ages will be essential.

This role offers the chance to work in a stable, well-established office with a respectful pace and a collaborative atmosphere. We provide nitrile gloves and regular masks as PPE. Lunch break is 1 hour from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm. Office building parking is available for staff convenience.
