Hygienist: part-time and per diem shifts available

Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) – Part Time
Pay: $55.00/hour (approximately $440/day based on an 8-hour shift).
***Our schedule is stable, and if there are patient cancellations, our hygienists are not required to clock out or shorten their shift.

Barsoum Dental is a patient-centered private practice looking for friendly, skilled, and enthusiastic Registered Dental Hygienists to join our team.

We are currently looking to fill one or more of the following days:
Monday: 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM or 8:00 AM - 5:00PM 
Tuesday: 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM or 8:00 AM - 5:00PM 
Wednesday: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Thursday: 9:00 AM - 5:00PM
Friday: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
No weekends!

Responsibilities:
-Perform dental cleanings: Prophy, Periodontal maintenance, SRPs
-Periodontal charting and assessments
-Take digital X-rays 
-Educate patients on oral hygiene and treatment recommendations
-Maintain thorough and compliant clinical notes
-Build strong relationships with patients through trust and communication
-Refer patients to our periodontists when appropriate
-Collaborate with doctors and team to provide excellent patient care

Qualifications:
-Active California RDH license
-Strong clinical judgment and attention to detail
-Excellent communication and patient education skills
-Team-oriented with a positive, professional attitude
-2+ years of experience preferred, but not required.
