Lead Dental Assistant
LOCATION
Burton, MIWe are seeking a full-time dental assistant to join our general, single-doctor practice while the doctor is on medical leave and three experienced dentists are currently providing coverage. For over 40 years, our office has been known for its friendly atmosphere and knowledgeable, caring team. We use the latest communication and dental technology to provide excellent oral health care for patients of all ages.
The ideal candidate will feel comfortable serving as the sole assistant for one dentist in a busy 2-operatory setting. Strong skills in taking four-handed dentistry, taking great x-rays, alginate impressions, inventory managment, and maintaining the autoclave and Statim are essential. Experience with intraoral scanning is recommended. Experience with temporary crown fabrication, Dentrix, DEXIS, and digital x-rays is highly valued. Candidates should also be confident, organized, and ready to help create a smooth, positive patient experience.
This full-time position includes a 1-hour lunch break and offers pay of $21–27/hr depending on experience. Benefits include a SEP-IRA, vacation time, holiday pay, and sick pay. We are looking for someone with the experience needed to feel comfortable in this role and contribute to a caring, efficient team.
