Dental Assistant (Part-Time)

Pay:** $20.00–$24.00 per hour (based on experience)

We're seeking a Dental Assistant who is clinically skilled, detail-oriented, and passionate about creating an outstanding experience for every guest who walks through our doors. What You'll Do

* Assist the doctor during restorative, preventive, and surgical procedures while ensuring a seamless clinical workflow.
* Prepare treatment rooms and maintain instruments and equipment to the highest standards.
* Capture high-quality radiographs and digital scans using modern technology.
* Document clinical findings, treatment, and progress notes accurately.
* Educate guests on oral health, home care, and post-operative instructions with confidence and compassion.
* Support a calm, welcoming, spa-like environment where guests feel comfortable and informed.
* Collaborate with the front office to create a smooth guest experience from check-in through follow-up.
* Maintain OSHA, HIPAA, and infection control standards at all times.
* Be willing to jump in wherever needed to support the team and our guests.

Qualifications

* Previous Dental Assistant experience required.
* Coronal polishing preferred, not required
* Knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and clinical procedures.
* Experience taking digital radiographs and intraoral scans preferred.
* Familiarity with dental software (Oryx, Eaglesoft, Dentrix, Open Dental, or similar) is a plus.
* Strong documentation and organizational skills.
* Current certifications required by North Carolina for dental assisting duties.
