Dental Assistant
Salary- $ 20 to $ 25 per hour
Job Type- PART TIME (with possibility to transition to Full Time)
Work Schedule- Mon, Tues, Wed- 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., alternating Saturdays- 8 a.m. to 12 noon
Qualifications:
High school or equivalent: Preferred
Dental Assisting: 1 year minimum (Preferred)

We need the right individual with a positive attitude, a quick learner and multi-tasker, who strives for his/her personal best, and has a hard working ethic and dedication to the job. We are looking for someone who has potential to stay long term with our office and grow professionally with us!
Duties:
Prepare treatment rooms with sterilized instruments, materials, and equipment prior to patient appointments
Assist Dr. B during procedures by handing instruments, managing dental materials, and operating chairside equipment with precision
Take and develop dental X-rays using advanced imaging tools such as 3D scanners while maintaining strict infection control standards
Record detailed medical and dental histories, vital signs, and medical documentation accurately within EMR systems
Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations by safeguarding patient information and maintaining confidentiality at all times
Support front desk operations as a dental receptionist when needed, including scheduling appointments and managing patient records
Maintain aseptic techniques throughout procedures to prevent infection and ensure patient safety
Demonstrate proficiency in dental terminology, anatomy knowledge, and dental coding to facilitate accurate recordkeeping
Support the team with general clinic duties such as inventory management of dental supplies and sterilization processes
Experience:
Previous experience working in a dental clinic environment is highly preferred
Knowledge of infection control protocols, aseptic technique, and sterilization procedures is required to uphold safety standards
Experience with medical imaging techniques including digital X-ray and 3D scanner operation is advantageous
Strong grasp of dental assisting responsibilities such as chairside assisting, taking vital signs, maintaining excellent standards of care
Certification or training in HIPAA compliance is beneficial for maintaining patient confidentiality
