Tooth Buds Pediatric Dentistry is looking for a friendly, reliable, and experienced Dental Assistant to join our pediatric dental team!
Position
Dental Assistant – Pediatric Dentistry
We are seeking someone who is compassionate, energetic, dependable, and enjoys working with children and families. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a fast-paced pediatric dental environment and be a positive addition to our team.
Requirements
Bilingual in English and Spanish is required
Previous dental assisting experience preferred
Pediatric dental experience is a plus
Comfortable working with children of all ages
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
Able to multitask and stay organized in a busy clinical environment
Professional, positive attitude
Current CPR/BLS certification preferred
Must be willing to learn and follow pediatric dental protocols
Responsibilities
Assist the dentist during pediatric dental procedures
Prepare and sterilize instruments and treatment rooms
Take and develop dental X-rays as permitted by training and state requirements
Help children feel comfortable and safe during their dental visit
Provide chairside assistance and maintain a clean, organized clinical environment
Communicate professionally with parents and caregivers
Follow infection-control and office safety protocols
Support the dental team with daily clinical needs
