Dental Front Desk Associate – Cherry Creek
Job Summary
We are looking for a Dental Front Desk Associate with attention to detail to join our team. The ideal candidate is friendly, highly organized individual who excels at multitasking. The Front Desk Associate’s primary responsibility is to manage all front office duties, ensuring a positive experience for every patient from the moment they arrive.
Responsibilities and duties
Patient management:
Greet and welcome patients and visitors in a warm, professional manner, and create a positive
first impression for the practice.
Check patients in and out for their appointments, and verify and update their information,
including personal details, medical history, and insurance data.
Answer phone calls and respond to patient inquiries.
Maintain a clean and organized reception area.
Maintain accurate patient records
Scheduling and communication:
Schedule, confirm, and reschedule patient appointments to optimize daily calendar and
minimize patient wait times.
Answer incoming phone calls, emails, and online inquiries with professionalism and clarity.
Contact patients to fill in last-minute cancellation slots.
Coordinate with the clinical team to ensure a seamless patient flows throughout the day.
Billing and Insurance:
Verify patient insurance eligibility and coverage prior to their appointments.
Collect patient payments, process transactions.
Set up treatment plans with patients.
Manage basic accounting tasks.
Administrative Tasks:
o Manage general office duties, such as scanning, filing, and creating documents.
o Maintain a clean and organized reception and waiting area.
o Manage office supply inventory and coordinate with vendors.
o Ensure patient confidentiality by strictly adhering to HIPAA regulations.
Qualifications and skills
o Requires a high school diploma or equivalent.
o Dental or medical office experience preferred.
o Proficiency with dental practice management software and Microsoft. Eaglesoft is a plus.
o Strong organizational and time-management, with an ability to manage multiple priorities.
o Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
o Exceptional customer service skills and a friendly, patient, and empathetic demeanor.
o Strong attention to details
o Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as a collaborator.
o Experience with conflict resolution and managing tricky situations.
o People Skills: Building rapport with patients and staff.
o Problem-Solving – Addressing patient issued and office challenges.
o Accuracy: Keep patient records and bring up to date
o Knowledge of HIPAA – Maintaining patient confidentiality and privacy

Annual Starting Pay Range: Based on experience and skill set
Full time: Monday – Friday 7:00 -4:00 1 hour lunch
