Position Overview:
We are seeking an energetic, passionate, and detail-oriented Dental Assistant who can work Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM. As an integral member of our practice, you will support the dentist chairside, contribute to a positive patient experience, and help maintain the highest standards of clinical excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare treatment rooms and ensure they are fully stocked and sterilized
Assist the dentist during various procedures, ensuring patient comfort
Take and develop X-rays following appropriate guidelines
Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a safe, clean working environment
Provide excellent patient care, including explaining treatment steps and post-procedure instructions
Collaborate with team members to manage daily workflow efficiently.
Qualifications and Skills:
Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) – if not currently registered, we can assist with the process
CPR Certification (required)
Nitrous Monitoring Certification (preferred)
Cross-training in front office/other areas is a plus or a willingness to be trained
Interpersonal Qualities: polite, punctual, proactive, and eager to learn
Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; additional dental training is a plus
