Job Title: Dental Assistant

Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of clinical procedures while delivering exceptional patient care. You will work closely with dentists and fellow healthcare professionals in a friendly, professional, and patient-centered environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist dentists during examinations and procedures, ensuring all instruments and materials are properly prepared.
Maintain strict infection control protocols, including sterilization of instruments and cleanliness of treatment areas.
Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed.
Accurately record patient medical histories, vital signs, and other relevant clinical data.
Provide efficient chairside assistance during a variety of procedures.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene and provide post-operative care instructions.
Utilize dental software for charting and records management.
Support the front office team with administrative duties when needed.
Skills & Qualifications:

Solid understanding of infection control and safety standards in dental settings.
Proficiency in dental practice management software .
Knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and common procedures.
Skilled in four-handed dentistry techniques.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills; team-oriented and patient-focused.
Work Expectations:

Must maintain excellent attendance and punctuality to support consistent patient care and effective team collaboration.
Must be emotionally and physically capable of performing in a fast-paced environment while remaining calm, professional, and focused.
Strong attention to detail is essential to ensure accuracy in patient care and clinical procedures.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32 – 40 per week
