We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental office in Allen, TX. As a key member of our team, you will support our general dentistry practice, delivering high-quality care to our valued patients.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the dentist during various procedures while ensuring patient comfort
- Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment, adhering to strict health and safety standards
- Maintain accurate patient records using Dentrix software
- Help in with Front Office duties when available
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and care
- Ensure the office environment remains clean and organized
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1-2 years of experience as a dental assistant
- Current RDA license required
- Proficient in Dentrix
- Must be cross-trained in various dental procedures and assistive duties
Skills and Attributes:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment
- Detail-oriented with a focus on patient care
