Dental Assistant needed in North Lake Tahoe!

We are seeking a part-time Dental Assistant to join our busy general, PPO, and private practice. This is a great opportunity for a dependable, patient-focused team member who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment with a strong emphasis on quality care and teamwork. Our practice serves both locals and tourists, and the schedule stays full, offering steady hours and a supportive workplace.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of experience and is comfortable with chair side assistance, four-handed dentistry, instrument sterilization, digital X-rays, charting, and patient education. Experience with Open Dental is helpful, and we are happy to train the right person on systems such as iTero and other office workflows. Cross-trained candidates are preferred. Strong communication skills, professionalism, and a calm chairside manner are essential. Bilingual skills are a plus.

Responsibilities include assisting during procedures, taking x-rays, preparing treatment rooms, sterilization, maintaining accurate patient records, supporting infection control procedures, and helping patients feel at ease. A high school education, experience in a dental office, a current California DA or RDA certification, and CPR certification are required.

This part-time role offers $25–$35 per hour, DOE, along with paid time off, paid sick leave, paid holidays, and flexible unpaid time off. The schedule is Monday through Wednesday, 8–5, with a 1-hour lunch break from 12–1 (feel free to bring your paddleboard to take your lunch on the lake!). Parking is available nearby.
