Johnstown, COWe are seeking a skilled and dependable dental assistant to join our busy, patient-focused private practice. This is a full-time position in a general, single-doctor office that provides PPO and private care. Our team values a warm, small-town atmosphere where patients are known personally and treated with respect, comfort, and attention to detail.
The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of experience, strong communication skills, and a team-oriented attitude. Responsibilities include chairside assisting, 4-handed dentistry, placing composite fillings, packing cord, taking x-rays, scanning, fabricating temporary crowns, and supporting restorative procedures. Experience with impressions, sterilization, charting, patient care, and general dental office workflow is important. Confidence, organization, and efficiency are key in this role. Cross-training is not required, but it may be helpful.
Our office performs a wide range of procedures including endo, oral surgery, implants, restorative care, and general dentistry. We are a collaborative team that supports one another with instruments, sterilization, and patient care. The schedule includes a 1-hour lunch break. Compensation is based on experience.
