Dental Hygienist | Private Practice | $55–$62/hr + Benefits

Boca Dental Studio is seeking a dependable, compassionate, and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our growing private practice in Chicago’s Gold Coast. We opened in 2023 and are proud to have already been recognized as "Best Dentist in the Gold Coast". We are a modern, single-doctor practice with a close-knit team and a strong focus on providing an exceptional experience for both our patients and our staff.

We’re looking for a hygienist who takes pride in providing thorough, high-quality care and wants to be part of a smaller practice where their contribution is genuinely valued. We see a diverse adult patient base and provide comprehensive general and cosmetic dentistry, including preventive and periodontal care, restorative dentistry, Invisalign, implants, veneers, and more.

**What We’re Looking For**

Our ideal hygienist is confident, thorough, gentle, and comfortable working with a degree of autonomy. Clinical responsibilities include prophylaxis, periodontal charting and assessment, scaling and root planing, ultrasonic scaling, digital radiographs, patient education, and communicating periodontal and home-care recommendations.

Just as importantly, we’re looking for someone who is dependable, organized, compassionate, and a true team player. We value accountability, a strong work ethic, good communication, and a willingness to learn. One year of experience is preferred, but we are open to motivated candidates with strong clinical fundamentals who are eager to grow with our practice.

**Hygiene Support**

Our hygienist is not expected to do everything alone. We typically have a dental assistant supporting the hygiene schedule with room turnover, sterilization, radiographs, and keeping the day running smoothly so you can spend more of your time focused on patient care.

**Schedule & Work-Life Balance**

Our team works shorter, 7-hour shifts with Wednesdays off every week:

• Monday & Thursday: 1:30 PM – 8:30 PM
• Tuesday & Friday: 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM
• Every other Saturday: 8:30 AM – 2:30 PM
• Wednesday: Closed

The combination of morning and afternoon shifts creates some great flexibility during the week. You’ll finish at 3:30 PM on Tuesday and won’t return until 1:30 PM Thursday, giving you nearly two full days of uninterrupted time midweek. Our 7-hour shifts also mean you can finish your workday without spending 8–9+ hours at the office.

**Compensation & Benefits**

• $55–$62/hour, depending on experience
• Paid time off
• Paid sick time
• 401(k) with employer matching
• Free and discounted dental care
• Modern, beautiful Gold Coast office
• Supportive hygiene schedule with dental assistant help
• Consistent 7-hour shifts
• Wednesdays off
• Every other Saturday

At Boca Dental Studio, we believe in giving our clinical team autonomy and trusting them to provide excellent care without unnecessary micromanagement. We work hard, support one another, and want our office to be somewhere our patients and our team members genuinely enjoy being.

If you’re looking for a modern private practice where you can provide excellent care, have a voice within the team, and be appreciated for the work you do, we’d love to hear from you.
