San Antonio, TXAdvanced Oral Surgery is an established oral surgery practice located in San Antonio, TX. We are seeking an experienced Surgical Dental Assistant (RDA) to join our growing team full-time, Monday-Friday!

*A Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) with 1 or more years of experience working in oral surgery

📆Schedule: Monday-Friday
*Monday, Wednesday, Thursday: 7:30am-5pm
*Tuesday: 7:30am-2pm
*Friday: 7:30am-1pm or 7:30am-2pm
💵Compensation: $22-$25/hr, plus monthly bonus opportunities based on performance

📍Responsibilities:
*Take diagnostic x-rays and dental impressions
*Collect consent forms for surgery and update patient health history
*Record patient vital signs and document in their chart
*Inform patients of pre-op and post-op instructions
*Set up the surgical suite according to the planned procedure
*Sterilize equipment and materials according to OSHA guidelines
*Assist surgeon with general anesthesia and IV sedation procedures
📌Requirements:
*Active Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) in the state of Texas
*Active CPR/ACLS/BLS Certification
*1+ years of experience as a surgical dental assistant
*Must currently have or be willing to obtain certifications for IV placement and phlebotomy
