Job Opportunity: Dental Hygienist - Part-Time

We are a dynamic and growing dental practice specializing in pedodontics, dedicated to providing the highest quality of care for children. We are currently seeking a motivated and compassionate Dental Hygienist to join our team as a staff temp. This position is ideal for recent graduates or those looking to start their careers in a supportive and engaging environment. We prefer to train any temps that come and work in our office and then make you a part of our regular temp team. We feel the training helps to set you up for success, allow you to better acclimate to the flow of our office and become familiar with our computer charting.

As a member of our clinical team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional dental hygiene services while ensuring a comfortable and positive experience for our young patients. You will work one-on-one with each patient, spending approximately 30 minutes with them, allowing enough time to thoroughly educate them about oral hygiene practices and address their specific needs.

Key responsibilities include conducting dental cleanings, taking X-rays, applying fluoride treatments, and educating patients and their families about proper oral health maintenance. We are looking for someone with a passion for working with children, as the ability to create a friendly and engaging atmosphere is crucial. Your excellent communication skills and gentle approach will help foster trust and ease any anxieties our patients may have.

While no prior experience is required for this role, a recent degree in dental hygiene and an active state license are essential. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or a skilled hygienist looking to grow their expertise in pediatric dentistry. In addition to a competitive hourly rate of $53 per hour, this position offers a 60-minute lunch break and is designed to offer a balanced work-life dynamic. Given the growth of our practice, there is potential for this temporary position to transition into a full-time or part-time role in the near future.
