We are looking for an experienced, dependable, and organized Dental Front Desk Coordinator to join our periodontal and implant practice. The ideal candidate has strong dental front-office experience and is confident handling Dentrix, treatment plans, dental insurance, scheduling, and patient financial discussions.

Responsibilities include:
Checking patients in and out and providing excellent customer service
Scheduling, confirming, and managing patient appointments
Maintaining and optimizing the doctors' schedules
Answering phones, emails, and patient inquiries
Using Dentrix for scheduling, treatment plans, patient accounts, insurance, and front-office functions
Creating and presenting dental treatment plans to patients
Reviewing recommended treatment, fees, insurance estimates, and patient portions
Discussing financial arrangements and payment options with patients
Following up with patients on unscheduled and pending treatment plans
Helping improve treatment acceptance and ensuring patients understand their next steps
Verifying insurance eligibility, benefits, frequencies, and limitations
Submitting dental insurance claims with the appropriate documentation
Following up on outstanding, unpaid, and denied claims
Reviewing EOBs and posting insurance payments
Collecting copays, patient portions, and outstanding balances
Communicating with referring dental offices and coordinating referrals and records
Assisting with accounts receivable and outstanding patient balances
Maintaining accurate patient records and HIPAA compliance
Working closely with the doctors and clinical team to ensure a smooth patient experience
Qualifications: Previous dental front desk experience, Dentrix experience, treatment planning experience, and dental insurance/claims experience are required. Periodontal, oral surgery, implant, or other specialty dental experience is a strong plus.
We are looking for someone who is professional, organized, confident with patients, comfortable discussing finances, and able to multitask in a busy dental office. The right candidate should understand that successful treatment coordination is not simply giving a patient a treatment plan—it involves educating the patient, answering questions, following up, and helping them move forward with recommended care.
Please apply with your resume and include your experience with Dentrix, treatment planning/presentation, dental insurance, and dental front-office responsibilities.
