Part-Time RDA

290 Dental Studio is looking for an experienced Registered Dental Assistant to join our team part-time, with the opportunity to transition into a full-time role as we continue to grow.

This role is primarily focused on clinical dental assisting, with opportunities for professional growth and expanded responsibilities over time.

Primary Role: Clinical Dental Assisting
Clinical Responsibilities:
Chairside assisting during dental procedures
Preparing and breaking down operatories
Sterilization and infection control
Taking digital X-rays and intraoral photos
Assisting with impressions, scans, and lab cases
Managing clinical supplies and inventory as needed
Providing post-operative instructions
Ensuring smooth room turnover to maintain schedule efficiency
Supporting same-day treatment when possible

Growth Opportunities

For candidates interested in expanding their skill set, there are opportunities to gain experience in front desk support, including:
Answering incoming phone calls professionally
Scheduling and confirming patient appointments
Checking patients in & out
Pre-booking hygiene and follow-up visits
Assisting in maintaining an efficient and full schedule
Front desk experience is a plus, but not required. We are happy to train the right candidate.

Qualifications
Required:
Current Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) license in Texas
Current CPR/BLS certification
Minimum of 2 years of clinical dental assisting experience
Radiology certification
Strong knowledge of dental procedures and infection control
Professional communication skills and a positive attitude

Preferred:
Experience in cosmetic and restorative dentistry
Familiarity with Open Dental and digital scanning systems
Nitrous oxide monitoring certification (or willingness to obtain)
Coronal polishing certification
Bilingual (Spanish) preferred
