We are seeking a skilled and passionate Dental Hygienist to join our thriving general and private practice. If you have a commitment to providing excellent patient care and possess a proactive attitude towards promoting oral health, we want to hear from you!

Position Overview:

As a Dental Hygienist, you will play a pivotal role in our practice, ensuring that our patients receive comprehensive dental care tailored to their individual needs. You will engage with one patient at a time, typically spending 45 minutes to an hour with each, allowing you ample opportunity to provide thorough, high-quality hygiene services. Your responsibilities will include performing routine cleanings, deep periodontal therapy, patient assessments, and providing valuable education on oral hygiene practices.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct thorough dental cleanings and examinations.
- Assess oral health conditions and provide an accurate documentation of findings.
- Assist in developing individualized oral health plans for patients.
- Educate patients on proper dental hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits.
- Collaborate closely with the dental team to ensure exceptional patient care and support.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the treatment area and sterilization of instruments.

Qualifications:

- A minimum of one year of experience in a dental hygiene role.
- Active state license and certification to practice as a Dental Hygienist.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a compassionate approach to patient care.
- Ability to communicate effectively with patients and staff, fostering a positive environment.
- Familiarity with dental software and electronic health records is a plus.
