Registered Dental Assistant (RDA)

Jarrell Family Dentistry is an established and patient-centric dental practice seeking an experienced Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) to join our team full-time. We love our patients and work with a cohesive team assisting a fantastic doctor. Our ideal RDA will be reliable, passionate about providing the highest quality of patient care, and willing to float between the front and back office to help out wherever is needed.

Schedule: Monday-Thursdays 8am-5pm
Compensation: $18-$20/hr, plus bonus opportunities

Responsibilities:
*Welcome patients to the dental office, escorting them to treatment rooms
*Prepare patients for treatments or checkups, ensuring their comfort
*Select and set up instruments, equipment, and materials needed
*Sterilize instruments according to regulations
*Assist the dentist through 4-handed dentistry
*Undertake lab tasks as instructed
*Provide oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions
*Keep the dental room clean and well-stocked
*Schedule appointments
*Maintain accurate patient records and assist with payment procedures
*Order dental supplies and keep track of dental supply inventory
*Answering phones, scheduling patients, and checking them in and out as necessary

Qualifications:
*Registered Dental Assistant in the state of TX is required
*2+ years of experience as a Registered Dental Assistant is required
*Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods
*Understanding of health & safety regulations
*Ability to perform regulated surgical and nonsurgical tasks
*Strong computer skills Denticon is preferred
*Excellent communication and people skills
*High school diploma or GED
*Bilingual in Spanish is a plus!
