We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our small private dental practice. Our office, focused on general, PPO, and private patients, is looking for a compassionate individual to provide exceptional patient care during this part-time position. This opportunity arises as our current dental hygienist is on maternity leave, and we are eager to find someone who can seamlessly step into this role.
In our practice, approximately 70% of our patients require periodontal treatment, making it essential for the successful candidate to have a strong skill set in this specialty. You will be working closely with our main doctor and a team of multiple dental assistants, all committed to ensuring a top-notch experience for our patients. Your primary responsibilities will include performing thorough dental cleanings, conducting periodontal assessments, providing patient education on oral hygiene, and ensuring that each appointment runs smoothly.
The ideal candidate should have at least 2+ years of experience as a dental hygienist, with a focus on periodontics, to meet the specific needs of our patient population. We prioritize the health and safety of our team and patients; therefore, we provide all necessary personal protective equipment (PPE), including disposable gowns, nitrile gloves, and regular masks.
Our office is conveniently located with parking available at the side of the building, making it easy for you to get to work. We ensure employees have a balanced work-life experience, with a 1-hour lunch break included in each shift.
In addition to a competitive hourly rate of $52, our practice offers a 401k benefit to help you plan for your future.
