We are seeking a dedicated, compassionate dental professional to join a well-established private dental practice specializing in general dentistry. This is a full-time opportunity in a single-doctor office where teamwork, patient care, and clinical excellence are highly valued. The position is open due to the retirement of our current hygienist, creating an excellent opportunity for a new team member to step into a supportive and stable environment.
In this role, you will provide high-quality preventive care and patient education while working one patient at a time in a focused, unhurried setting. Appointments are scheduled to allow the time needed to deliver excellent care, typically 1 hour for adults and 30 minutes for children age 12 and under. This structure supports both clinical thoroughness and meaningful patient interaction. A current NSPT certification is required for this position.
Schedule:
- Tuesday: 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Wednesday: 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Thursday: 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Our team begins each day with a morning huddle from 7:00 AM to 7:30 AM to review the schedule, coordinate patient care, and ensure we are fully prepared for the day ahead.
Our office offers a comfortable work environment with practical conveniences for daily life. Parking is available in our well-lit parking lot, and the schedule includes a 1-hour lunch break from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM. We also provide Paid Time Off (PTO) and a 401(k) as part of our benefits package.
Responsibilities include performing routine hygiene procedures, reviewing oral health conditions with patients, taking and documenting appropriate clinical notes, supporting periodontal maintenance, and reinforcing home care recommendations. The ideal candidate is confident, personable, detail-oriented, and committed to helping patients achieve and maintain healthy smiles. Strong communication skills and a professional team-oriented attitude are essential.
We welcome new graduates and are happy to support a motivated hygienist who is eager to grow in a private practice setting. If you are looking for a stable, full-time position where you can develop strong relationships with patients and contribute to a positive office culture, this would be an excellent fit.
Compensation:
- Competitive salary of $60,000–$80,000 per year, based on experience.
If you are a college-educated dental hygienist who values quality care, patient connection, and a supportive practice environment, we encourage you to consider this opportunity.
