DENTAL HYGIENIST

Requirements:
Registered Dental Hygienist in the state of Texas
Laser certified (if not currently certified, certification will be provided)
Nitrous certified (if not currently certified, certification will be provided)
Employment History: 2+ years experience
Typical responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
Performing prophylaxis procedures
Performing periodontal therapy (including the use of laser pocket reduction therapy)
Placing fluoride
Placing sealants
Patient education & discussion regarding their oral health
Assessing patient risk factors & reviewing medical history
Keeping patient records
Entering prescribed treatment
Performing oral cancer screens
Assess patient’s oral status and report to the doctor
Assisting in the exam with the doctor
Taking x-rays & intra-oral photos,
Performing iTero scans
Sterilizing treatment rooms & instruments, etc.
Training will be provided in the above categories as needed.
Hours: 4 working days Monday – Friday 8:00 am – 5:00 pm (days to be determined at hiring)
Pay: $50-52/hour (depending on experience and if hygienist is running one or two columns. If two columns is chosen, pay is higher and you will have a DEDICATED ASSISTANT to your two treatment rooms)
