Part time or full time dental hygienist

We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented dental hygienist to join our growing general dentistry practice on a full-time basis. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building long-term patient relationships, values teamwork, and takes pride in delivering an exceptional patient experience.

Our office is a small private practice led by one doctor who is also the owner. We are a close-knit team that believes in working hard, supporting one another, and keeping the atmosphere positive and enjoyable. We like to laugh, share stories, and enjoy lunch together while staying focused on providing excellent care. Because we are a small team, cross-training and collaboration are essential, and every team member plays an important role in helping the office run smoothly.

The ideal candidate will provide high-quality preventive care and education for patients, one at a time, with typically one hour scheduled for each recare appointment. New patients are seen by the doctor first for a 90-minute comprehensive exam and then return for hygiene care. Initial visits include gathering detailed records such as FMX, intraoral scans, and extraoral photos, helping us establish trust and create a strong foundation for long-term care. This position requires strong communication skills, a great bedside manner, a positive attitude, and the ability to use an intraoral scanner. Experience with Open Dental is preferred.
