🪥 Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities
As an Expanded Duties Dental Assistant, you'll play an important role in supporting our providers and creating an exceptional experience for every patient!
- 🦷 Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and organize equipment.
- 👩‍⚕️ Assist dentists chairside during procedures and anticipate provider needs.
- 📸 Take and process dental X-rays in accordance with applicable requirements.
- 🪥 Perform expanded duties within the scope of your certification and state regulations.
- 🔬 Prepare and coordinate dental laboratory cases.
- 😊 Welcome patients and help them feel comfortable throughout their visits.
- 💬 Provide treatment information and post-operative care instructions as directed by the dentist.
- 📋 Maintain accurate patient records and clinical documentation.
- 📞 Assist with scheduling and administrative responsibilities as needed.
- 🤝 Collaborate with clinical and front office team members to ensure smooth daily operations.
