Due to our growing new patient base, we're offering a 3 days a week, Wednesday thru Friday 8:30 am - 5pm, with an hour for lunch, hygiene position in the quaint downtown area of Valdese, right off of I-40W located at 405 Main St. E Valdese, NC 28690. This position comes with some Full-Time benefits and perks!

Qualified candidates must hold a NC Registered Dental Hygiene License, possess working knowledge, excellent communication skills, and a warm, positive personality. **Job Responsibilities:**
Perform comprehensive oral health assessments: Conduct thorough examinations, including periodontal charting, oral cancer screenings, and dental radiographs.
Provide preventive dental care: Perform prophylaxis , dental sealants to prevent cavities and gum disease.
Educate patients on oral hygiene: Instruct patients on proper brushing, flossing, and dietary habits to maintain optimal oral health.
Take and interpret dental X-rays: Obtain and analyze radiographs to detect and diagnose dental conditions.
Experience 3D Cone Beam X-Rays
Perform periodontal therapy: Treat gum disease through scaling, root planing, and other therapeutic interventions.
Administer local anesthesia: Provide anesthesia for dental procedures as needed.
Maintain dental records: Document patient information, treatment plans, and progress notes.
Collaborate with dentists: Assist dentists during dental examinations and procedures.
Adhere to infection control protocols: Follow all safety and sanitation guidelines to protect patients and staff.
Stay current with industry trends: Attend continuing education courses and conferences to maintain professional knowledge and skills.
Provide exceptional patient care: Foster a welcoming and compassionate environment, addressing patient concerns and ensuring their comfort
Communicate Treatment needs to the front office coordinator for scheduling production
Proactively ensure that the hygiene schedule remains full throughout the month to facilitate better patient follow-up care.
Conduct patient follow up care and phone calls
Maintain NC RDH Licenses & CPR Certification
OSHA/HIPAA Training
