Part-time experience, Dental hygienist

We are a growing dental practice seeking a skilled and personable dental hygiene professional to join our team in a full-time role. Our practice is a general, multi-doctor office that serves PPO and private patients, and we are looking for someone who can contribute to a positive, efficient, and patient-centered environment.

In this role, you will provide comprehensive preventive dental care while working closely with dentists and clinical support staff to help deliver an excellent patient experience. You will see two patients at a time in separate rooms and typically spend 60 minutes with each patient, supported by an assistant. This workflow is designed to promote both quality care and strong clinical efficiency.

Responsibilities include performing dental cleanings, periodontal maintenance, patient education, charting, radiographs as needed, and identifying oral health concerns for provider review. You will also communicate treatment recommendations clearly and professionally, reinforce home care instructions, and help ensure each patient feels comfortable and informed throughout their visit. Accuracy, attention to detail, and strong clinical judgment are essential in this role.

We are looking for a candidate with a minimum of 3 years of experience in a dental hygiene setting. The ideal team member is professional, friendly, and able to build rapport with patients of all ages. Since this is a busy and expanding practice, the right person should be adaptable, dependable, and able to work well in a collaborative multi-doctor environment.

A college-level education is expected for this position, along with current clinical knowledge and a commitment to continuing professional growth. Success in this role requires excellent communication skills, a calm and courteous demeanor, and the ability to deliver high-quality care consistently.
