Position Overview
We are looking for an Experienced Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate brings strong clinical confidence, expertise in chairside assisting for comprehensive and specialty procedures, and a passionate, patient-first attitude.
Schedule & Hours
Work Days: 4 days per week (Monday through Thursday) + every other Friday.
Work-Life Balance: Enjoy extended weekends on your alternating Fridays off!
Key Responsibilities
Chairside Assisting: Deliver four-handed dentistry across General Dentistry, Orthodontics, and multi-specialty procedures.
Patient Care & Comfort: Prepare patients for treatment, take medical histories, clearly explain procedures, and provide comprehensive post-op care instructions.
Radiography & Imaging: Take high-quality digital X-rays, CBCT scans, and intraoral impressions/scans efficiently.
Sterilization & Room Prep: Maintain strict infection control standards (OSHA/HIPAA compliance), sterilize instruments, and turn over treatment rooms quickly.
Clinical Support: Accurately record clinical notes, manage lab cases, and assist with inventory management.
Qualifications & Requirements
Certification: Active Texas Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) license required.
Experience: 2+ years of hands-on chairside dental assisting experience preferred (experience with both General Dentistry and Orthodontics is a strong plus).
Certifications:
Active Texas Radiology Certification (Required)
CPR / BLS Certification (Required)
Nitrous Oxide Monitoring Certification (Preferred)
Skills: Proficient with digital practice management software, intraoral scanners, and modern dental technology.
