Part Time Dental Assistant
LOCATION
North Brunswick Township, NJWe are seeking a part-time dental assistant to join our modern, spa-like, fee-for-service private practice. Our office offers a warm, family-like atmosphere where teamwork, professionalism, and patient care are highly valued.
The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of experience and an X-ray license. A high school education is required. Cross-training is a plus but not necessary. This role is a great fit for someone who is reliable, organized, and comfortable working in a busy clinical setting while helping patients feel at ease.
Responsibilities include chair side assistance, assisting with crowns, taking digital X-rays, impressions, and supporting patient care with excellent customer service. Additional duties include dental charting, instrument sterilization, cleaning and setting up the operatories, inventory support, use of Open Dental, DEXIS, intraoral camera, and iTero systems. Strong communication skills and attention to detail are important.
We provide disposable gowns, face shields, goggles, masks, and nitrile gloves to support a safe work environment. Additional benefits include PTO, on-site parking, and a 1-hour lunch break.
